SUMMER WORKSHOPS

Our week-long workshops at the OG print studio are limited to four participants, and each session is hand-tailored to meet the needs and desires of each student. Topics and techniques that will be discussed and demonstrated will include various etching methods, solar plates, non-toxic collograph plates, watercolor and oil monotypes, and myriad printing processes. At the start of each class, our master printer, Sue Oehme will meet with each student to develop a personalized plan for their time in the studio, and to produce a cohesive and broad body of work.

With a limited class size, there is ample time for all artists to work on our two presses. Each day we break for a delicious and healthy lunch, in our upstairs gallery, prepared by the Oehme Graphics team. At the end of the class, we will host a short critique with the group, and any spouses or friends are invited to join us.

Workshop classes meet from 10-4:30 pm each day, Monday – Friday. The studio is open and available for extra working time from 9am and also from 4:30 – 7pm.

Accommodations are also possible at the studio on a first come, first serve basis, in our lovely artist bedroom.

Workshop  dates are posted at the beginning of each year. The cost for a week-long workshop is $980, including all lunches. Materials (inks, watercolors and 5 full sheets of paper) are included as well, with the exception of solar and copper plates, which can be purchased at our cost at the studio. Additional paper can be purchased if needed.

We also offer private workshops for small groups of friends, as well as families with small children.
