JEANNE SCHNEIDER
It wasn’t until mid-life that Jeanne tapped into her creative side. Her previous work in collage, watercolor and encaustic wax has been a perfect preparation for exploring printmaking. What is most exciting and challenging to her is learning the many different techniques used to make prints and then looking into how she can use them in her own individual way. Through experimenting with colors, textures, shapes and layering, she hopes to transform an image into a beautiful and unique monoprint.
Jeanne and her husband live in an almost 100-year-old cabin in Steamboat Springs surrounded by nature that continually inspires and nourishes her.
