“My exhibition explores the idea of changing lenses for visual clarity, a skiing concept brought to art. It reflects my technical and artistic progression as a printmaker, depicting iconic mountains that shaped me as a skier and person. These mountains sometimes loom with awe-inspiring magnitude, or are dwarfed by sky and northern lights, reaching toward infinite and unpredictable horizons. This journey has been painful, joyful, and filled with wonder as each plate transforms under ink and pressure.” – Deb Armstrong
