We’re back…(just been really busy!)

Diana Cooper and more…

Diana Cooper’s project continued with more proofing and combinations of elements. Diana was with us at Oehme Graphics for the last part of July, and she spent much of the time working on an elaborate, large-scale marker and crayon drawing which we exposed onto four large solar plates. The diptych image she worked on will ultimately be printed in small editions with different color palettes. We are continuing the proofing as this blog is being written!!!

In the meantime, we achieved three beautiful BATs ( also known as the prototypes for the editions), illustrated below. These are all Untitled (for now) and edition sizes are yet to be determined, but they will range between 10 and 20 prints each. The “Black with Color” will be priced at $2000, and the two vertical prints will be $1800 each.

Diana was also very busy during her stay planning for an upcoming exhibition in Brooklyn, NY honoring victims of Hurricane Sandy. The show, titled Come Together, Surviving Sandy, will open in Brooklyn next week on Oct 17th.

We will send another Diana Cooper announcement out once we have finished all the proofing  and Diana has signed her prints. Meanwhile, we will be bringing her works to NYC in early November for the NY Satellite Print Fair (being held at Bohemian Hall from Nov 7th – Nov 10th.)
